The new BMW F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure and F 800 GS (successor to the F750GS, from 2024) are the latest mid-range premium travel enduro bikes from BMW Motorcycleand offer a revised product offering for purists who are looking for driving fun on and off the road. These models have undergone an intensive revision and are characterized by improved off-road, touring and adventure capabilities as well as expanded standard equipment.
One of the most striking improvements is the developed two-cylinder in-line engine, which has more displacement and thus ensures increased driving dynamics. With a displacement of 895 cm3 (instead of 853 cm3), these engines offer impressive performance. The F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure deliver 77 kW (105 hp), while the F 800 GS offers 64 kW (87 hp). These engines are characterized by improved peak performance, a more powerful torque curve and impressive acceleration power.
The new models offer the “Rain” and “Road” driving modes as well as ABS Pro and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) as standard. With the optional "Driving Modes Pro" package, additional driving modes, driving mode preselection and engine drag torque control (MSR) can be activated to further improve driving dynamics.
The F 900 GS is characterized by a significant weight reduction of 14 kg compared to the previous model and has a new, lighter plastic tank and rear area. This model is specifically optimized for off-road use and offers improved ergonomics as well as a variety of customization options, including enduro footpegs and an aluminum side stand.
All models are equipped with powerful LED lighting units, with the LED headlight of the F 900 GS offering improved illumination. In addition, the motorcycles have a large 6.5-inch TFT display, which offers a wealth of information and functions, including telephony, music playback and navigation.
The F 900 GS has been completely redesigned and features a more dynamic design language that signals off-road competence and sportiness. New body features, a slimmer plastic tank and a sporty rear silencer from Akrapovič contribute to the dynamic appearance. The F 900 GS is available in various model variants and colors.
In addition to the standard equipment, the F 900 GS Adventure offers a fully adjustable upside-down telescopic fork and an LED headlight. The F 800 GS has a TFT display as standard and other features.
