MAGURA 20mm Repair Kit for Brake Master Cylinder for R1100RT

For the large number of motorcycles which are still in active service with the 288 brake master, Magura are offering a 20mm repair kit which contains all of the parts required to completely rebuild the brake master cylinder. It is recommended following many years and kilometers of active service to completely clean the master and to renew all of the sealing elements to ensure that the brake functionality remains at the highest level for the future use of the motorcycle.

The kit contains the following components: - a new piston with primary and secondary seals and a new return spring
- a piston protective bellows
- a reservoir bellows
- a new gasket washer for the piston retaining bolt
- a small amount of silicone based brake paste
- detailed repair instruction in 4 European languages (English, German, French, Italian)

I cannot fault this item due to its quality. I have bought three over the past two years and the quality of this is far superior with a stronger return spring and included grease. If I was to criticise I would ask for a simple arrow on the papers to show which way to insert the piston. I had my fingers crossed but it worked well and after 3 years my brakes are working .....
